Deg's Flame Grilled Chicken

I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience with one of the older staff members at this restaurant. He’s always rude to me without any apparent reason. The other day, I arrived before noon, and even though their website stated a different opening time, he bluntly informed me they wouldn’t be opening until 12. There wasn't even a sign posted to clarify this at the entrance. I waited for him to finish cutting chicken, hoping for a friendlier interaction, but unfortunately, he was dismissive as usual. I work in the mall and really enjoy their food, but this behavior makes me reluctant to choose this place for lunch anymore.

I strongly advise against dining here. There are no gluten-free options available. I assumed the fries would be safe, but they turned out to be breaded. The menu doesn’t indicate any potential allergens, and the staff were not helpful at all. I ended up wasting time and money, and after eating a bit of the fries, I realized my mistake. Now I'm feeling unwell and disappointed. If you have any food allergies, I recommend avoiding this place entirely.

I'm currently enjoying the Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo. I decided to try one of their sauces, the Lemon Garlic, which surprised me since I wasn't familiar with its scent or flavor. Overall, it was a good experience. The fries arrived piping hot!

Deg’s offers some of the freshest, juiciest grilled chicken with just the right amount of char. The Peri Peri sauce blend they use is great and comes in a variety of spice levels and flavors including Lemon Herb, Garlic, and BBQ. We enjoyed their creamy Deg’s Sauce. It’s a mayo-like drizzle that compliments the tangy Peri Peri sauce really well. The rice has a pleasant, light spice and is topped with some lettuce and sweet corn for added crunch and sweetness. Highly recommend checking out this location at Fairfield Commons Mall’s Food Court. Their service is fast and friendly!

The food here is fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The chicken is halal, which is a plus. I even drive all the way from Cincinnati just to eat here. It's absolutely worth it – you should definitely give it a try!
