Benvenuto's Italian Grill - Beaver Dam

I visited this location for the first time, and it was outstanding. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious! The house-made bread served as a starter was fantastic, bursting with the perfect amount of herb flavor; it was nearly impossible to resist finishing the entire basket before our meals arrived. If you enjoy Cajun flavors, the Cajun Grill Pasta is packed with taste, and their house-made fettuccine Alfredo sauce is just as good as homemade—it was delightful! The food arrived quickly and piping hot. I highly recommend this place!

Let's begin with the positives. The only one that stands out is that we had a wonderful waitress. She was attentive, polite, and answered all our questions about the menu. Unfortunately, the negatives overshadowed this experience. I ordered the spinach and feta calzone, and it turned out to be very mushy and excessively greasy, drowning in oil. I couldn't even eat the filling. Thankfully, they provided free bread, so at least I had something to eat.

They serve excellent bread here, the kind that's soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The food was enjoyable as well, but honestly, I can't emphasize enough how amazing the bread was—fresh out of the oven and wonderfully soft!

Food was fantastic. The goat cheese and fig jam dip appetizer was excellent. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes and french onion soup were delicious. The cheese ravioli is an excellent choice. Will definitely return next time I get the chance. Wait staff was also great.

I popped in to place a family order to go. I was told it would be 20 25 minutes wait. I went and sat in the bar while I waited. Fell in love with the stools and wish they would be redecorating soon so I could try to buy them. ; I had a lovely little summer time drink while I waited. The food was ready, bagged up and brought to me in the bar within 20 minutes. The take out packaging was good quality so nothing spilled or seeped while driving home. Everyone was very happywith their entrees and our sides of garlic cheese bread and French onion soup were delicious too. We loved the Pepperoni Hot Honey pizza, the Linguini Alfredo with chicken, the Meat Lasagne and the Four Meat Calzone. Delicious! Super nicestaff!
