L'Ermitage Mont Saint Michel - Beauvoir

My man and I were recently 1 night in this hotel during the visit of mont saint michel. we didn't want to stay on the island, but wanted to be close. this was only 4 miles away and very practical. it is a small place with only one person who worked at a time, which meant that the person moved around a bit. that said it didn't bother the service and they were very accommodating. the service was very friendly and personal and they are happy to help on any wise they can. our room was beautiful, but right at the entrance, which left a little to wish.

If you want to experience the smallest 5star heritage hotel in France, you should stay here! we reached here quite late as 11:30 o'clock without reservation in the most busy months of the year and the owner was nice, helpful and hospitable in the evening. in this nice hotel and will recommend it 100%.

The best hotel, restaurant ever. A must. Everything was perfect, when I say everything, it's everything. I would give this hotel a 6 stars if it was possible. The host Willy and his wife Aurelie are extraordinary, friendly, and extremely professional. They are detail oriented, they went out their way to make our stay memorable, they made reservations to authentic French restaurant for us, recommended see sigh beside the Mont St Michel which is 5 minutes away. Their hotel is decorated with fine taste, their wine list is out of this world. All meals are made by Aurelie " the Chef" with the most fresh ingredients.

Brand new, amazing appointments, lovely owners ... what a delightful surprise! If you are visiting Mont Saint Michel, which you really must do, this boutique hotel has it all! Immaculate, great location, delicious breakfast, attentive and helpful owners. Truly a gem and the BEST part of our vacation in the Normandy area! They made the American tourist feel welcome and valued.

This was one of the sites on our life-long list, and it lived up to our expectations. You can see the abbey from great distances, which is overwhelming as you drive toward it! While we were not impressed with the usual touristy shops at the base, the abbey and structures on the island were fantastic!
