Les Popiettes - Beaune

There are so many wonderful restaurants in Beaune. Really unfortunate, that I wasted time at this place. The servers are just rude. If you want great service go to almost any other restaurant.

After reading so many great reviews about this place on Trip Advisor we attempted to grab lunch there on a Sunday. The waiter was so at first condescending to us for attempting to speak French and then dismissive and rude when we said we did not have reservations. It was clear they don’t want tourists eating there.

I was a last minute reservation on a busy Saturday night, so pleased to be accommodated, Food was delicious, creative and very flavorful. Limited menu choices if you have special requirements, 3 each for aperitif, entree and desert. Happy vibe overall. Small, intimate on a cobblestone street. Really enjoyed it.

Repas en groupe de 17 personnes, menu composé facilement par téléphone, bon produits trés bien travaillé, bon rapport qualité/prix.

Excellent service with a waitress who spoke slowly in French so we could understand and helped in English when we didn't! The homemade granola was delicious, as were the croissants. Definitely recommend this place.
