Rosie's Soul Food - Beaumont

This place is a must try! I had the oxtails, greens, black eyed peas and peach cobbler The food is so darn good and you can tell it's made with love.

We've been to Rosie's before while traveling through this part of the stateIt was so good we came back.

The place is cool The okra with the tomatoes was the best thing on my plate I literally should have gotten double potion sooo goood .

Home Style Soul Food at it's Finest! A-1, Rosie's! I had the Smothered Pork Chops, Candied Yams and Okra 'n Tomatoes, with a plate of Dark Chocolate Cake. Just complaint? Cake WAS only a LIIIITTLE BIT dry. But everything and all the others were STELLAR. Recommend all and the sun. And this GRAVY? Man! Didn't have such a "Penty... after my Gran died, I didn't have such fine, homely good food. And the GRAVY!? Now! Don't say that loud, kiss that she rolls around in this casket...but I love you like that, Gran! Oh, man! But... Rosie is better than my Gran. Omg was rich, smooth and creamy without a HINT of lumps, and also no taste of too much CornStarch as a trick!! FUNCTION IN ALL CATEGORIES. Just... Id sink a bit more capital in interior and decor... but... if you're looking for good a**food and not worried about good a**table rentals and such...? Hold on to all cylinders, all of you!! Superb.

Rosie's meat lamb and greens were the best I ever had. The green beans were so delicious that I probably would have eaten a bucket, but my manners have better me. I'll be back.
