The Tangled Vine - Beaufort

I had some difficulty locating the restaurant due to the name change. I didn't see any options for vegans or any baked goods, so I decided not to stay.

I was delighted to discover a cafe in Beaufort that offers a delicious roasted vegan focaccia on their menu. They also had a scrumptious vegan carrot cake for those with a sweet tooth!

This unique cafe offers a variety of vegan takeaway choices such as wraps, pies, and pastries. I was particularly impressed with the clearly labeled vegan section in the in-house chocolate shop. I recommend trying the chocolate honeycomb! The staff were very friendly, and the person who served me mentioned that they were also vegan, which was comforting in a small rural town.

Amazing food and coffee, friendly kind staff with a great attitude (half of which are vegan) they've got a cute little gift shop there, and even a chocolate shop inside the Cafe with lots of vegan options including vegan choc pretzels, Turkish delight, peanut brittle and more.

The board outside was an invitation saying “pumpkin soup with toasted Turkish bread. Vegan”. They have a small amount of vegan food but with encouragement would expand. They are vegan friendly in their attitude. Soup is always vegan, they say. Very tasty lunch today. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-09
