The owner knew for over 2 months that I was bringing a bus of 35 people to his restaurant. He only had one cook (himself) and one waitress. We were there for over 2 1/2 hours and still some people were not served. The food was horrible and the place was absolutely filthy. This was not the fault of the waitress because she was trying her best to serve everyone. After our very nice three day trip, this was the worst restaurant. There was no paper towel or toilet paper in the bathrooms. Tiles were ripped up or missing from the floor and equipment that was nonworking was in the hallway that was nasty. I will make sure everyone knows not to go to this restaurant. It was really horrible. We were on a schedule and that threw us way behind. He had no consideration for large groups and planning ahead.

Last night was the first time in my life I have ever walked out without paying. Decided to give this place a try. Nice atmosphere, not busy, 5 tables occupied, took 10 minutes to get a botled beer and an iced tea. Another 10 to place our food order. Had to ask twice for an update on our appetizers, finally after an hour they arrived, fried mushrooms, ok, not great, waited almost another 30 minutes still no food. After almost 2 hours in this place I put $20 on the table and went to ARBY'S. I will not return!

I've been here several times for breakfast, and I can confidently say it's the best in town. The homemade biscuits and gravy are absolutely delicious! The owners are very friendly, and the prices are affordable. Don't waste your time at other rural restaurants in the city!
