Ho Wah - Beachwood

I ordered the chow mein with the intention of taking the middle portion to go, along with a side of a roll. I requested for the roll to be extra crispy or well-cooked to ensure that it is heated thoroughly.

I went for lunch on Tuesday. I inquired if I could have some extras or cooked side dishes, but the server said it was not possible. The service was quick, and the food arrived promptly.

I used to be a regular customer of Ho Wah, but unfortunately, I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. The last time I tried to order the Mai Tai, it was not available like it used to be.

I got the shrimp fried rice and I didn't like it too much. But I will try again because of the attractive menu

This restaurant is truly unique. While some may dismiss it as just another Chinese food place, I can assure you that it is on a whole different level. The flavors, food prep, and presentation here are unmatched by any similar establishment I've ever visited. Every dish I've tried has been perfect – the sauces are light, the food isn't drowning in gravy, and nothing is too salty or greasy. The Lo Mein noodles are thinner than usual, but in my opinion, they are even better. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and peaceful, perfect for a nice conversation. The staff is friendly, professional, and it's clear that they have been with the restaurant for a long time. Personally, I have very fond memories of this place from my time living in Lyndhurst. Every time I visit Cleveland, I make sure to stop by and bring some delicious dishes back home with me. That's how good this place is. Don't hesitate to give it a try!
