Country Mexican - Baytown

The food was delicious, and the tortillas were outstanding. I can't believe it's been two years since you opened, and I didn't know about you! We will definitely be returning. I enjoyed my meal so much that I forgot to take any photos.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! If you can, ask for Joel to be your server. I've only ordered a few dishes here, but I’ve never been let down. It's not particularly trendy or novel, just a well-maintained, classic spot that consistently delivers great flavors.

The staff was always nice and attentive. Can be a little slow, but the juice is freshly squeezed and the breakfast is the bomb. 2.49 for two eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes and beans the choice of tortillas or toast!

The best in this place is the cost of breakfast meals they offer. That means the portions are what we should eat, not what we eat. We are used to getting a lot of food enough to stuff ourselves and go home later. The served amount is a meal, nothing more. The food itself is fundamental. What we ordered was served hot. The tortillas lubricated homemade-right-then; very good. Soft drinks are from a can (you open and pour into a glass of ice). The restaurant is a neighborhood complex. It is not complicated, there are no unusual tablecloths, plates, glasses, utensils. We're going back.

I called in an order and the person on the phone said it would be 20 mins. I get there and the food is not even close to ready. I waited another 25 minutes before I got the food, as if that wasn't enough the food was cold. By the time I got back to work with the food I was gone an hour and ate a cold lunch. Not happy!
