Restaurant Poseidon - Bayreuth

This is an ideal base located between the town centre and the Maisel Brewery. Staff friendly and helpful. They serve local draft beer, but then so do most other establishes in Franconia.

It is a Greek restaurant, Greek food (mostly), Greek wine, excellent Ouzo (Greek too). The food is good but not anything outstanding, good stuff for the money you pay.

Wonderful selection of Greek oriented to very favorable trips. I had the Plaka plate, which is typical of what they would find in one of the outdoor cafés in the athener plaka. souvlaki meat gyro meat rice and tzatziki for diving. friendly waiting staff.

Not the best Greek restaurant in bayreuth, but very cheap. the open buffet at the weekend offers a good selection of food.
