Pompei Pizza - Bayonne

I have visited Pompei many times and it is a favorite among my family. Even though we no longer live in the area, whenever we are in Bayonne we make sure to stop by. The aroma of freshly made dough can be detected even before entering the restaurant. Their RC cola complements their plain pie perfectly. The classic Italian plain cheese pizza has just the right amount of cheese and sauce, without any strange additional flavors. There is no need to pre-order, as the pizza is best enjoyed fresh and is quick to prepare.

The pizza at this restaurant is absolutely awful, and the staff is even worse - rude and inattentive. Don't be fooled by the promise of Italian cuisine; aside from the tasteless, greasy pizza, there is nothing worth trying here. I would definitely not recommend this place.

After hearing glowing reviews from my coworker, I decided to order from this place. However, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered two pizzas for myself and my pregnant wife, but when the person making the pizzas touched them with his bare hands, used his phone, and wiped his nose without washing or sanitizing, I had to cancel my order. I politely explained the reasons for my decision and hope that others will be cautious when choosing to dine here. I do not wish for anyone to have the same experience that I did.
