Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Bay Saint Louis

The mac and cheese was fantastic. The meatball was scrumptious, and I appreciated being able to add the homemade-style barbecue sauce myself. The flavor of the barbecue was outstanding. The waffle fries were cooked to perfection, and the roll was one of the best I've had in a long time. The chicken tenders were fried just right. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I made an error.

I was really disappointed by the portion sizes considering the price. I might have overlooked that if the meat hadn't been so dry. It didn't taste like it had been on a smoker or BBQ at all. While the brisket did have a bit of a pink ring, if I can't taste or smell the smoke, what’s the point? Fortunately, I had some sauce to help. The ribs had a strange soapy taste. I suspect the only difference between their spicy and regular BBQ sauce is the addition of red pepper flakes. The cornbread was decent, I guess. Also, my order was slightly late—not by much, but enough for me to notice. Honestly, I’m not too bothered by that though.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the brisket sandwich. It was a great sandwich for the price. Overall, it appears to be a reliable spot to grab some tasty food quickly, especially considering it's located at a gas station.

Chicken Ceasar salad is not a true description. I got a box full of chewy croutons, cheddar cheese, a little lettuce and a little chicken. Husbands meal was not a good value for what we paid for it.

Very disappointed, along with the staff uninterested in serving the clients, food was cold. If even correctly made. Stay away? Tried it 5 times,????
