Real Seafood Company Bay City

The restaurant was amazing and definitely worth a visit. I don't mind paying for good food, especially when it's fresh seafood. Everything we tried was delicious, from the dynamite shrimp, lobster tail, and burger, to the garlic-crusted carrots. The cherry on top was the fantastic key lime pie, possibly the best torte I've ever had. Our server, Jennifer L, was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

My friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I'm glad I followed their suggestion. We were fortunate enough to secure a reservation right by the water, offering a beautiful sunset view. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining all the menu options. They seemed to have moved towards offering more bottled beers, but still had a good selection. The prices on the menu were reasonable, similar to other restaurants in the area. I ordered a dish with scallops and shrimp, which was amazing. Both were perfectly cooked. Dessert was a key lime cake, which was a bit underwhelming as it lacked flavor. Despite that, it was a great dining experience and I would definitely return to see our server Erica again.

For my starter, I enjoyed the clam chowder with Parmesan cheese. For the main course, I had the black grouper with chipotle aioli, corn mashed potatoes, and glazed asparagus in a lemon berry sauce. Alongside my glass of cold water, I sipped on a delicious glass of Colonel Taylor bourbon, recommended by the bartender. The grouper was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, with a nice sear on the outside. It was hearty and flavorful, with the beurre blanc sauce being a great accompaniment. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for fresh seafood options and bold flavors.

Waiting for a longer time than expected we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the river during the blue hour. we had paella and limecake for dessert. the highlight of the evening was the excellent service during the meal.

Excellent food and amazing service. Very fresh oysters, excellent scallops and amazing desserts (key lime pie and cheesecake). Very nice service too! We will definitely be back next time we are around.
