Meatys Bbq - Bay City

I'm from the city, and I'm honestly surprised that this place isn't packed wall to wall with people. Our meal was incredible, and I usually find BBQ places hit or miss. Typically, the main dishes are great while the sides are mediocre, or vice versa, but that's not the case here. The baked beans, coleslaw, and fries were all fantastic, and the BBQ sauces were equally amazing. The dining area is very comfortable, with a lovely terrace next to the railway, adorned with some charming lights. I just had to be mindful of the occasional bug and seagull. If I ever find myself back in the area, this little gem is definitely a must-visit.

Amazing BBQ! We ordered the ultimate sampler that included chicken, ribs, brisket, and kielbasa, accompanied by freshly cut chips and onion rings. Everything was incredible! The meat was perfectly smoked, high-quality, juicy, and not overly fatty. The chips and onion rings were just how I like them—crispy but not burnt. The service was excellent and the seating area was beautiful and relaxed. Highly recommended!
