Excellent service and delicious food. I checked this on another page. good value for money. we found the restaurant on a cool Saturday night random and were more than happy that they had sitting for us. personal friendly and unobtrusive.

If carlsberg would make burger. we found the restaurant in a side street of the main road in the old town of built. when looking into the window it seemed closed. After we found that they were open, we were very pleasantly surprised that they were well filled with guests in the back dining rooms. After we had set ourselves, we searched the menu that covers all tastes and palettes. service excellent and unobtrusive. four very different meals ordered and four very satisfied guests when our teller arrived. the food was excellent and very well presented. there was no rush for us to clean up after eating. we had to talk and were not upset about the staff who tried to get us more drinks. the bill was very reasonable for what we had. a really great and completely unexpected culinary experience. 5 stars and more

Since 2011 I have made three traveling after building, two of which are partly based on the return to this restaurant. Nowhere in my experience (not very extensive in Germany) I found a place with 2 liter beers, mainly the largest traditional German steink beers with a liter are dizzy. Anyway, eating in this restaurant has always been great and the fact that they offer a 2-liter beer is an absolute selling hit and that at a quite reasonable price. an absolute must be for lunch or dinner when they are built in and are in a favorable position. I'll say the last time that the service was missing. they seemed to be a little relatiw busy, but it also seemed like they were underoccupied, and this led to us needing about 35 to 40 minutes to get our pretty simple order. when I got to eat, I was done more than half with my 2 liter beer. a definitive scar on an otherwise good experience.

I was two years in succession on an adventurous with a friend here and went the second year to tackle the 2-liter beer they had at this place. the eating was delicious and well prepared, the beer was great and the atmosphere is quite random, but cool. in any case a great place for lunch or dinner.

We stopped in Bautzen on our tour through Germany and had lunch at the Alter Bierhof Inh. we sat on the terrace overlooking parts of the old town with its wall and round tower. We chose this location because of the influence of Saxony on the kitchen... and it was not disappointed. We enjoyed several local dishes and everyone was a joy and excellent prepared.
