Argo Cable Car - Batumi

This is a must do in Batumi. The cable car was extremely stable and felt very safe. We saw much of the city and ocean scape. You are taken to another side, you can get off to find gift shops, a restaurant (in and outdoors), and a sky deck allows you to observe the entire city edge of Batumi. From here you can see all the casinos and iconic buildings and it’s a must see. If you climb to the side of the sky deck, you can also find a church and a hill top edge without barrier, that’s where you’ll see me pretend to know karate. As for the ride, it’s 30 lari a person. All in all, a great experience. Side story, there’s also an old larger dog outside the front entrance of the Argo building, it’s very friendly but street children were throwing fruits at him, how ironic, begging for food and yet throwing food at a harmless dog. We also found a cute kitten at the top.

30 GEL per person for a round trip ticket. 12 min ride one way. On top you get to see Batumi city and the Black sea You can get food and beverages on top if you fancy expensive restaurants and shop for wines and liquors as well. There are few freelance photographers who can click amazing pics for you for as low as 30 GEL(you can negotiate if you are planning to get more pics from them

Lovely cable car ride. However, there is only a chapel, restaurant, and look out point on top... Nothing else to do so seems a little expensive to go with nothing much to do on top.

We took a ride in the Argo Cable Car, it was interesting as this gives you a different view of the city from the car and the disembarking location. It is somewhat expensive at 30 GEL each. The ride was unique and a good opportunity to take some pics. If more than two people I think the cost it not worth the experience. 3btraveler

The route is quite long(about 10 minutes) and the view is beautiful but i want to say that cable car windows were extremely dirty so it's really hard to take a good picture of the view.They either have to wash the windows or change them.The price was 30 GEL per person,it is a bit high considering that you can't take a private cable car.You need to get in with 5-6 people.
