Don Jose's Grill - Baton Rouge

My daughter and I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant since it opened, and we finally did. The food was delicious and quite affordable. Our server was attentive and ensured all our needs were met. This is definitely a fantastic place to go out for a meal.

Haley was one of the best waitstaff we’ve ever encountered. She never led us astray with her recommendations. I kept saying, "this is the best pollo loco I've ever had!" The daiquiris were generous and delicious.

Five stars! Absolutely wonderful! The staff was very attentive, and the manager even stopped by to check on us. Our server, a college student from Fort Worth whose name I didn't catch, was fantastic! This is the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. After being in Florida for a month without Mexican cuisine, we decided to try Don Jose's based on the reviews, and we're so glad we did! The bean dip with queso was phenomenal. We also ordered 'The Cookout,’ which featured delicious grilled chicken, steak, shrimp with chorizo, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions, served with beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and tortillas. My husband loved the margaritas too! I highly recommend this restaurant—definitely give it a try!

Came here tonight with a church cinco de mayo fellowship dinner. Amazing food. Amazing drinks even made one I had a craving for peach margarita with a few jalapeño slices and some juice. Perfect! Our waiter and the hostess was fantastic!

Food is amazing! It's our favorite Mexican spot in town. Service is even better! Love their fresh margaritas!! Highly recommend!
