Slug Lettuce Bath

We were refused entry for dinner as one of our party was 17. We were not advised that there was a policy not to serve dinner to anyone under the age of 18 at 8pm or later.

We had a horrible time. I have left a review on trip advisor and its not a good one. We will NOT be returning there ever again.

We booked our table for 7pm and on arrival was informed that we would have to leave by 8pm as both my children are under 18. This was not made aware to us at the time of booking. We were seated and we felt we could make it work for us but whilst trying to use the online ordering service the steak was unavailable and we couldn’t remove it from the order. Whilst trying to rectify this and change our order the time was ticking by and it was now 7.15pm which left us no real time to enjoy our evening. This in turn made our night go from bad to worse as we decided to leave and attempt to find somewhere else to eat, which in the current climate was very challenging. In future for online bookings you should make it very clear if you have time restrictions for children visiting your establishments. I won’t be rushing to book again.

My steak wasn’t cooked the way I asked it and the bouncers on the door were rude and didn’t make us feel welcome
