Unbelievably tasty food last night from JC’s Kitchen. My family and I went there to get a take out for a birthday treat and we weren’t disappointed! The point and counterpoint of the spicing, sweetness and meats were forcing us to keep eating even though we were completely full! The veggie curry was so tasty and I’m not even vegetarian! Something for everybody at JC’s- some of the best street food I’ve ever had. And I eat out a lot!
The best thing to have hit Bath's streets in a long time. Had the (gut-busting! mixed chicken and pork belly sourdough wrap which was cooked there and then and tasted incredibly fresh. No flavor overpowered any of the others and everything came together deliciously. The homemade hot sauce was amazing also, really flavorsome and not just a hit of chili. He was ladling out some Lugaw (Filipino congee as well, which went down a treat on a cold December afternoon. I've not had it but the other customers were going crazy for the bubble squeak. He's a really decent guy too. Go and check it out, and don't forget to take a serviette away with you!
We used JC kitchen for our son's wedding in Bath in May this year. They provided the late night food after the wedding and also the food for the garden party on the Sunday after the wedding. The food was delicious and all the guests loved it. Highly recommend for any occasion
It was a combination of english and Filipino. The Adobo blended well with the potatoes. I was surprised on how great it was. Did not imagine that and English Filipino fusion is a brilliant idea. Highly recommended. Plus the owner is soooo nice
