The pub is charming and tucked away, but we didn't mind at all. It's a true local gem! We live nearby and had never even noticed it before, despite driving around the area several times. The pub wasn't crowded, which was great because we had the dining area all to ourselves for a nice catch-up. The food was outstanding, everyone loved their meals. The brownie for dessert was unbelievably gooey and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. And the fire was so cozy, we didn't want to leave!
The restaurant has a talented chef who prepares delicious food. The service is friendly and quick. The only downside was the lack of ambiance, as there were only two other diners on a Thursday night. The restaurant is somewhat hidden and not visible from the main road.
During our recent stay in the area, we discovered this hidden gem located just a short walk away from us. The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
I went out for Sunday lunch with my dad. My dad had the pork and I had the half a chicken. We both absolutely loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Sunday dinner. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
We were staying in the local area and I’ve had a hankering for ‘pub lasagne’ for weeks, searched for pub food nearby and found The Lamb. SO GLAD we did what a little gem. The food was delicious, right down to the side salad. Everything well seasoned, hot, fresh, and the chips were possibly the best I’ve had including in Michelin starred joints! Service also really welcoming and friendly, couldn’t fault it at all. Came to £45 for two courses each plus a pint and a soft drink which (in my view) is excellent value for the quality.
