Great place to eat. Under new ownership and really good food and the service is excellent. Recommend the catfish. It’s really good. Always nice people and good atmosphere.

Need some one that's know how to cook a more wait staff on

Came for my husband's class reunion dinner, so we had a big group. Typically with a big crowd you expect slower service, but the service and food were excellent as usual. We had a great time.

First time to Backwoods. I had a ribeye and asparagus. One in the party ordered early when everyone else was just getting drinks. She was supposed to wait on everyone else, but our waitress brought out the one dinner right after the rest ordered. She never ask anyone if they wanted drink refills. We wasn't even half way done and was bringing out check and asking if we wanted a to go box. At least let us injoy our meal. I only got 4 pieces of asparagus and it was very tough. My steak had a lot of gristle and so did my dad's. With the horrible service, I'll probably never be back.

This was our second time visiting and enjoyed it as much as the first time. We will be back soon!
