Przekaż informację zwrotnąFloor service as you’d find in Tokyo, (and there’s a good reason for that), Food courses, each one a delicious adventure down exotic but satisfying paths, Flavours in a masterful mosaic of engaging tastes, with enticing wines to match. Sandbar seemingly reaches new heights every...visit. We had to pinch ourselves that we were in Batemans.
We were delighted to be able to return to our favourite restaurant in regional NSW after five months of lockdown. The food, the ambience, the service were all exquisite, as usual, simply a balm to our deprived souls. It was great to see the...familiar faces of Tomoyo and her front-of-house team, and they all seemed very glad to be back doing what they do so well…quietly, elegantly, efficiently. As usual each of the five courses was a work of art and an education for the senses. David and his team manage to combine quite exotic ingredients that entice the mind, delight the eye, and sing in the mouth. Last night, their first night of reopening, was no different. The highlight for both of us was the fourth course the Mimolette tart which appeared to us to be a riff on a theme we have tasted there before that tantalising combination of Camembert and honey but taken to a light and exotic level in a crisp tart with Yuzu, mulberry and leek ash. A delight. Thanks for hanging in there for all us devotees Sandbar!
Warm, comfortable friendly atmosphere with a charming Waitress. Food was delicious with refined flavours beautifully plated. Thank you for a special dining experience celebrating the birthday of a family member.
Each course was beautifully presented and displayed a creative use of local ingredients. Sashimi kingfish was delicious as was chicken in bresciola served with lobster bisque. Delicious desserts with a balance of confection, fruit and chocolate. A memorable gastronomic experience.
Friendly, warm, and welcoming staff are there to talk you through the stunning course set menu. Every course (with matching wines as optional) was divine.
