The Tea Tree - Batavia

Last night, I visited this restaurant with a friend for a tea tasting class. It was a fantastic experience! The tables were elegantly set with black linens, a notepad, a pen, several tasting cups, and beautiful teacups and saucers. The owner, Missy, served us a delicious tea called For Her that was light and floral. As we sipped on the tea, she shared the history of tea and its different varieties. Her teammate, Lauren, went around pouring samples of each tea into our tasting cups as Missy explained the health benefits and flavor profiles of each one. Missy also shared entertaining stories about her travels and the process of making tea. After the class, we had the opportunity to browse and purchase the different teas available. I bought a peach oolong and Happy Days, both of which we had tasted during the class. The shop also offers spices and balsamic vinegar for sale. Missy and Lauren did a fantastic job, and I thoroughly enjoyed the class. I can't wait to come back again soon!

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. My friend and I ordered two iced teas and sat on the patio. The menu provided clear instructions on how to brew each type of tea, and also offered a variety of spices, olive oils, and balsamic vinegars. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their products and the local area. It was the perfect spot for a refreshing afternoon treat.

We visited The Tea Tree for the first time this weekend and will absolutely be back! I love that there are refillable options for sustainability and so many olive oils, balsamics and tea! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The building is aesthetically pleasing and you can smell/sample all of the products. We will absolutely return! What a great local spot for gifts!

This was a great experience. We got two iced teas to enjoy on the patio. The store has great and easy to follow directions that tell how to brew each different tea as well as some spices, olive oil options, and balsamic vinegars.Staff was really friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and surrounding area. Definitely great for an afternoon pick me up
