We were charged multiple times even our meals didn't reach our home and to get reimbursement almost impossible. It is really disappointing to see business which downgrading so fast! Good luck fixing the issues!
The worst meal delivery service. I properly cancelled my order before the Wednesday cutoff but their system didn’t make the change. I called 7 hours later after I discovered THEIR error to cancel the delivery. Even though it’s still a full week before the delivery date, they would NOT cancel. Net result is I’m out of pocket $85 and the food will rot at my door for 3 weeks before I can return to trash it. I’m immediately canceling my account!!
Stealing money and blaming the customers is an interesting business practice. Their policies are not clear and when you call to speak with someone regarding their overcharge, you’re basically told “this is your fault and you should have read the fine print.” Never in my life have I dealt with such a shady business. Now I see why the reviews are so low. Also, when you mention their low reviews, customer service tells you “you should have looked into those before hand.” Charged $99 for food I cancelled and there’s no way to get it back. Unacceptable.
Update 6/28/23: Factor reached out to me to refund my order only after I had initiated a chargeback with my credit card company. They don’t care about you unless you make a lot of noise. I plastered reviews on at least 10 sites before I heard anything back from them. They also pleaded for me to change my star rating, which I am not going to do. I tried Factor for a while. After too many broken deliveries and slow customer service, I decided to stop.They sent me a post card to try it again at a significant discount. 8 meals for $35. This is how it should be priced. Not $115+ for 8 meals.This box was just okay, so I opted to cancel my next box. Apparently I missed the cutoff by 9 hours that I was supposedly notified about 4 days ago. Not only did I not receive the email notification (I checked my inbox, deleted box, and spam box; no notifications), they refused to cancel the order.Factor says “As a growing brand, we are constantly trying to improve.” Well, this isn’t the way you do it. You don’t gaslight your customers and then refuse to cancel an order that doesn’t ship for several more days.I will NEVER order from them again given these insane shenanigans. Two thumbs down.
Have to say so far, it's fantastic, one had the butter chicken and the vegan mushroom marsala, and both were delicious. I wanted low-calorie, tasty food, and options for cooking, whether microwave or oven, which is excellent. The only downside I've seen so far is the plastic is flimsy after being microwaved. At less than $10 a meal, this is a bargain and time saver ?
