Big Mike's Grill House - Batangas

The dynamite and crispy binagoongan is delicious. However, the chopsuey and java rice are way too salty.

My compliments to the chef the food is outstanding. Now for the bad news. The staff is clueless we were the only people in the restaurant and they looked quite disappointed that there night of doing nothing was disrupted by customers. The order was mess up and it took a lot of time to come to that conclusion since nobody ever asked us how the food was and if we needed anything. I was drinking beer and had to beg for each one. The staff seemed to be pre occupied with there own agenda. My recommendation would be to give the chef a raise and fire the staff and train a new staff how to operate a restaurant that should be focused on service and up selling customers more food and beer.

My food took nearly an hour to arrive, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the wait. The pancit was excessively salty, and the chicken was just mediocre. Perhaps these aren't their best dishes, but the service certainly didn't shine either.

The food was really disappointing, and I felt like I wasted my money. The only positive was the large portion sizes.
