I wanted to give this restaurant a chance to support local businesses. I placed an online order totaling $38.91. When I arrived to pick it up, I was informed at the door that they couldn't fulfill the order because the cook had just received a positive COVID-19 test result. That was understandable, so I asked for a refund. However, they told me they couldn't locate my order, and that led to a frustrating back-and-forth. I showed them the receipt from my online order, but they acted as if they couldn't see it. Since June 18, I’ve been trying to get in touch with them, but nothing has worked. I've sent emails, left voicemails, and reached out multiple ways, but I still haven’t received my money back. They currently have my $38.91 and seem unwilling to return it. I can't even provide a review of the food since I never received my order. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, even if someone paid me to do so. It's concerning to think about how many customers were served before June 18 without knowing that the cook had COVID-19. This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. As of August 11, 2020, I still have not received my refund. I feel completely taken advantage of—what a shame!
The staff at the pickup area were friendly but seemed a bit confused about my order. They didn’t fully understand what I was referring to, but they were polite and told me I could pick up my items at the back while they would bring the food to me. I loaded everything up and we drove home. However, once I got home, I realized they hadn’t included the drink or the garlic bread. Additionally, the pizza order was incorrect—I asked for half black olives on my pepperoni pizza, but instead, it was covered in olives. The second pizza was supposed to have pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and peppers, but there were too many toppings piled in one area rather than spread evenly. A quarter of the slices were completely missing toppings. I used to work in a pizza place, and I believe that a good pizza should have a consistent quality in every bite. Unfortunately, this one didn't meet those expectations. I plan to try their drinks later since I didn’t get that this time, even though I paid for it. Overall, I spent nearly $30 with the tip for two pizzas and six wings, which is much more than I would typically pay for such quality. It's disappointing because the pizza could have been really good with a little more care.
I was at this place for the first time the other day. omg it was delicious! hands down my new favorite pizza place. I'm gluten-free, so I told my bf that I wanted only one bit from his disc. two discs later. Now I can't stop thinking about the place. lol hooked!
We thought the two for one pizza deal for Wednesday would be great, but it was awful. The crust, which I had hoped would be the same as their buns, was like cardboard, it was over baked, and the toppings were thin and tasteless. I had the gluten free, which was worse than the one my husband got. I won't be wasting my money there again on pizza. By the way, their gluten free buns are great. They should put the pizza sauce and cheese onto a split bun. That would be good.
