Back 9 - Bastrop

This is a great spot! The taco truck was fantastic (though it's no longer there). The laid-back atmosphere is wonderful, and the bartenders are excellent; they somehow remember my drink even though I only come by once or twice a month. There are always fun activities, and I really enjoy the fires during the winter. My only wish is that they would occasionally feature more laid-back bands, like acoustic acts. The older bands can be a bit too loud for such a relaxed setting.

This restaurant serves burgers, wings, chili dogs, crispy fish, and of course, a variety of alcohol! It's an excellent spot for a winter outing since they offer outdoor heating. However, if you're planning to sit outside the entire time, it's best not to bring children, as there isn't space for them.

I had both dinner and dessert last night, and everything was absolutely delicious!

This bar has serious issues. It feels like a bigoted environment, and the overall cleanliness is lacking—there were roaches on the floor. The food is subpar and the place has a terrible odor. They serve drinks in plastic cups, which is quite off-putting. Additionally, I noticed underage drinking and gambling happening. The parking lot is also a hazard, with nails and screws scattered around. Overall, Bare Back 9 is the worst gay bar I've ever visited.
