L'Ancura Marina - Bastia

We needed a place to eat before we drove with the ferry when there was a lot. the service was fast and pleasant. we had a burger and pommes that was pleasant. run by a mother and daughter this is a wonderful place to stop and... enjoy the view.

I just wanted to have a light lunch I ordered a courgette with salat. it was right. a slightly dressed salate crispy salted courgette fritters a glass rose came to €13. the young waitress was very sweet and friendly and...she said the frit herself made, so I was glad to like her!

We decided to come to lunch in this restaurant before we go on a long car ride. we waited at least 15 minutes before someone order our drinks (4 bottle water) and it took well over 30 minutes to arrive. we then waited to order food after we had received a menu twice, and then we had to wait until someone comes and takes the order. we waited over an hour for sandwiches that weren't even on plates, with fillings that were hardly there. because of the bad service speed we had no time to explore bastia before we were gone.

L'Ancura Marina is a nice Corsican bistro, which is not that typical anonym tourist bar you find everywhere, but where you get to know the owners, have a talk with them and feel really welcome. Also you have this amazing view over the Mediterranean and could sit there for hours.
