We came to the Garden centre to have a lovely Sunday trip and the it was all going fine until we entered the restaurant. The staff are rude, the coffee is cold and when our food arrived (two ciabattas and one Soup) to which we were not given any cutlery and when my sister went to get some cutlery we were only given one spoon, a fork and a knife to share between four people and they were dirty! The service here is absolutely horrible and the staff really need to be taught a few lessons in customer service.

We had some lunch here at the weekend. My last experience wasn't very good, (with a prawn baguette), so this time I tried a cherry scone. It was delicious, very big, and crusty on the outside and soft in the middle.... just perfect. I had some tea with it too. It was good that they didn't charge extra for decaffeinated tea.

The restaurant is spacious with lots of natural light and comfortable seating. The lunch options were good overall, but there weren't many exciting choices for vegetarians. It was nice to have bottles of tomato ketchup, BBQ sauce, and vinegar available. Although my baguette looked appetizing, it was lacking in flavor. Perhaps a stronger sauce would have improved it. The service was good and friendly.

The restaurant offers a good variety on the menu, we ordered the jacket potatoes with beans salad. The dishes were well presented and the restaurant was clean. It was a busy place and all the meals served looked tasty, everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. The dining area was large and there was also an adjoining conservatory. A special thank you to the friendly waitress with a lovely smile.
