The Happy Haddock - Basildon

Georges, formerly known as a chip shop, offers large portions and friendly staff. I recently visited on a Saturday to pick up fish, chicken, savaloys and chips. I also ordered southern fried chicken, which was freshly cooked for me but resulted in a bit of a wait. However, once I got home, the food was still piping hot and delicious. Overall, a great dining experience and I look forward to returning when in Billericay.

Freshly cooked cod and chips, available for delivery. The portion of chips is large and the onions are delicious! The food quality is consistently good since the new owners took over. Highly recommended by a couple with a big white dog.

Undoubtedly the best fish and chips in Essex, the hot wings are delicious, and the ribs are amazing - a must-try if you're in the area. The restaurant is tucked away but easily accessible with good parking in the heart of Billericay.

Lovely chips shop, my favourite curry spring roll, chips and curry sauce, kids love the chicken chunks.

Have been here a few times now. Staff very friendly. The food is nice and tasty. Chips can be a little lightly cooked. Chips and cod is not at all greasy. Would definitely return.
