The Gun Pub - Basildon

I recently attended two wakes at this venue, and I was very impressed with the staff. They were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the events. The buffet offered a nice selection of foods, which were promptly refilled as needed. There was also a self-service station for tea and coffee, along with a small private bar available for guests. The private room was clean and nicely arranged, making for a comfortable setting.

It's such a shame that it took a funeral for them to discover this great pub, which has excellent bar service and a fantastic selection of beer. My daughter lives just five minutes away and had no idea it was there. I definitely intend to visit again, but this time without needing to attend a funeral first!

I've been here several times, and the food is always fantastic. The staff is wonderful too. It's our favorite family restaurant!

The first time it was for my friends nan funeral they had the recipe in this pub very nice and friendly eating was nice very good customer service give it a visit they will not be disappointed!

Whilst the decor is not necessarily the most 'pub like/cosy ' we popped in on the off-chance for lunch as the pub we had intended to go to was closed. Best decision we 've made, the food was excellent. Bit of a wait for it but worth it. Will hopefully be back
