Costa Coffee - Basildon

This Costa branch is spacious and offers a wide variety of options. There was a slight line this morning, but the staff were clearly putting in effort to handle it efficiently. The restaurant has ample seating available, with both indoor and outdoor options on a terrace which provides a nice separation from the road and the nearby retail park. The retail park itself has a large car park, although it can be difficult to find a spot close to the Costa store at times.

Lilly and her staff at mayflower costas are the best there is. Because this costas is so good I go there, fortunately someone else thought the same...now this beautiful lady and I are happily together...so thank you Lilly and all your staff as I'm now in the best place I've ever been. In love at costas mayflower.

Costa Coffee is my go-to spot for coffee because they have a delicious coconut milk option. While some locations can be hit or miss with their service, the Mayflower Retail Park in Basildon consistently provides exceptional service. The staff are always friendly and efficient, making it a pleasant experience to visit even during busy times.

Visited Saturday 17th Feb 2024. The most abrupt rudest cashier, I asked what was gluten free told nothing I said in the whole shop nothing she said yes, I then asked the lady making coffee who then directed me to front cakes on counter and explained cashier said nothing. It wasn’t what she said but how she said it didn’t listen very rude not inviting into cafe so so rude and sharp, I shall be going back to my favourite more polite place greggs which is across the road goodbye you don’t deserve my hard earned cash anymore that was your last chance.

This restaurant is not one of the best in terms of cost, but they all pretty much serve the same thing, right? I've noticed that it's been getting more expensive lately. Personally, I prefer Starbucks, but the staff here is friendly and they have good parking.
