Hasenburg Restaurant - Basel

We have been going to this iconic place chateaux lapin or hasenbergfir for 30 years plus when we return to basel, my husbands home town. Always a true to basel place with locals and a wondeful laberli n rosti .... Still good food but now with tablecloths no longer the reasonable prices. Rosti never as crispy as years ago......... Not the interesting gathering of locals it wud seem......... Make friends with change

We enjoyed our dinner at Hasenburg, one of the oldest restaurants in Basel and in the same family for over 50 years. Delicious chicken, ceps asparagus and potatoes. Nice bottle of Basel pinot gris. Good service.
