Concordia - Basel

Not just a meal, but an experience. We had a wonderful evening with lots of delicacies. A small, inconspicuous restaurant with a great, friendly team and great food.

Very nice. If you want to eat vegetarian, Concordia is definitely at the top. Kitchen very good, motivated people at the front, clean. It was really fun. Concept: There is a menu, that's it. But: everything really tastes great. Price performance takes getting used to, but in my opinion justified. A very personal downer: beer from the Zurich area doesn't have to be that way. Basel has better local beers. Overall: keep it up

So I don't understand the 1 star reviews. It is a multi-course menu, perfectly coordinated. You don't leave the restaurant full but with a great feeling, delicious ingredients and a great experience. The service is super friendly, very accommodating and the food is great. Always happy <3 There's nothing bulky or cheap here...and that's a good thing!

Neuer Wirt! Wendelin Mahrer macht das super, wunderbare gutbürgerliche Küche, sehr gemütlich! Die Gerichte werden mit viel Liebe zubereitet, der Service ist freundlich, und Flexibilität gross. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Interesting and delicious food and super competent service. Set menu of all vegetarian sharing dishes, consisting of Amuse Bouche, Starters, Pasta, Mains and Dessert. In addition there’s an optional cheese course. Hosted by a friendly, authentic and very competent service in a cosy and intimate setting. The wines in the wines set are curated by wild wines and contain a superb selection of natural wines. If you don’t want to drink too much, you can also get half a wine set. Eat there as often as you can, before everybody knows how goods this place is, the awards will be announced (this is for sure and logically prizes will increase ;
