Veranda Restaurant and Bar - Basdiot

During my three-night stay in Moalboal, I visited Veranda Restaurant and Bar multiple times. It is conveniently located right on the waterfront, offering a stunning view. The restaurant is spacious, with some tables situated along the beach that are initially hidden from view. They have TVs showing sports games and the staff is friendly. The menu is extensive, featuring a mix of Filipino and Western dishes including breakfast, sandwiches, toasties, crepes, soup, pasta, pancit, rice dishes, salads, appetizers, sizzlers, meats, seafood, pizza, and desserts. I highly recommend the Mango pancake (120 PHP) for its excellent and fluffy texture. The Chicken BBQ (200 PHP) was also delicious, with tender chicken coated in a sweet sauce served with garlic rice. The Banana pancake (90 PHP) had a fluffy and airy texture with a generous amount of bananas. The Spanish omelette (150 PHP) was flavorful and creamy, filled with onion, green and red pepper, mushroom, and cheese. Overall, I highly recommend trying their pancakes, especially the Mango pancake.

The location is amazing, right by the ocean with stunning views. We started with a fruit shake and a plate of nachos, thinking we might stay for dinner. The nachos on the sign looked great. The drinks were quick and tasty. But when the nachos arrived after a long wait, they were not what we expected. It looked like a strange dip with spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese, and ground beef. When we asked the waitress, she insisted it was their version of nachos. Even the manager said the same, despite our expectations from the menu board. We left disappointed and went to another restaurant for a proper meal. We wouldn't return, as there are many better options in Moalboal. The only good thing was having a story about the worst nachos we've ever had.

We were in the group when we visited the place on July So, we sat down and only of us ordered a cup of coffee and mango shake. To our surprise, one of the waiters approached us and told us that their management requires all the customers to order something kinahanglan mn jud mam ky mao mn gd amua dri He was so ill mannered and forced us to buy something. Like really? So bastos jud and to think the place is not full of people. Only table was occupied. We would understand if there are a lot of customers that are waiting outside but there are none. Kulang nlng pagawson mi niyang wala ni order. We stayed there in less than coz we didn't enjoy staying there. We dont feel we are welcome in their resto. You could've approach us proffesionally.

This place has great food great price and good service great view and music too. We came here for breakfast and dinner two different days.
