Beachcomber Cafe - Barton-on-Sea

The food was excellent, and I was thoroughly impressed with the variety of dishes. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was very good. The view from outside was fantastic, with the Isle of Wight to the east and Old Harry Rocks in Studland Bay to the west.

This is the perfect place to enjoy the view while having a delicious meal outdoors, safely distanced during COVID, and it’s dog-friendly too. The Dorset apple cake is absolutely delightful!

Excellent breakfast, excellent service! this is such a wonderful caffe that drinks fantastic food all day. we have lucky enough to live in Barton-On-Sea after we are pulled down in 2020, they go into this caffe as much as possible in the run of the year, so we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. it is very busy so book when you eat to avoid disappointment.

Came in for lunch today and had the Beachcomber burger. Prices higher than I remember pre-covid but looks like they’ve had a total makeover and the quality of food was improved too, delicious meal. Prefer the old look and feel though

What a lovely place..... such friendly, acommodating staff!! We had a table inside but someone had fish which triggered my daughter's allergy so we had to move outside. They were so kind about it! We had various cakes and tea, all of which was delicious and the Belgian bun was the best I've had in ages!!!!
