Tokyo Steakhouse Ii - Bartlett

Perfect for families with children. We visited this restaurant for my birthday over the weekend. My 2-year-old son had a great time watching the chef prepare the food with impressive fire displays on the table. The onion volcano never fails to impress. As an added bonus, they offer a unique experience by shooting rice liqueur into your mouth using a water gun from a distance.

I went for a solo dinner at Tokyo's and was seated within 5 minutes with a delightful family. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service at this restaurant. The chef was friendly and entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the fun sake shots that they offer at the grill. Overall, Tokyo's is a great place for anyone who enjoys delicious food and a good time.

My group of 8 had reservations for a hibachi table at 7:30, but we were not seated until 7:55. The service during the meal was average, with the waitress only doing the bare minimum and the chef being shy but generous with sake shots. Our checks arrived without anyone inquiring about our satisfaction or dessert preferences. When one of my friends asked for mochi, the waitress rudely agreed before handing out the bills. As we were leaving, we witnessed a couple being denied a hibachi table due to their party size, only to see another couple seated at one moments later. Upon realizing my boyfriend had left his wallet behind, I called the restaurant and was told they did not have it, but they would call if it turned up. After my boyfriend and his friend returned to find the wallet exactly where I described it, they also observed inconsistent treatment of customers at the hibachi tables. The overall service seemed to reflect the mandatory 18% gratuity, and we will not be returning to this restaurant.

We had the best experience this evening. The host/receptionist gal had her stuff together and is very organized. Additionally, our server was on it! Usually it’s good service, occasionally spotty, but tonight it was above and beyond. I was genuinely SO impressed with the speed of the drinks, perfect timing of rolls and overall quality of the food for the price these days with inflation… Thanks so much, cheers.

The food was very flavorful, a little too salty, but overall delicious.
