Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Bartlesville

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe customer service requested that I explain the situation on their website, so I did as they asked. To my surprise, I received a letter from them apologizing for the error. I have decided to give them another try. My husband and I visited on opening day during their 3pm to 5pm promotion offering all smoothies for $1.99. However, we were charged the regular price of $5.49 each. When I inquired about this, a young lady went to get someone else who I assume was the manager. The manager acknowledged the error and apologized, but could not refund the overcharge. Instead, he gave us coupons for a 99¢ smoothie on our next visit, but only with the purchase of a sandwich, wrap, or salad. I would have preferred a refund as the smoothies were not that good, and this offer felt like a push to get customers to spend more money.

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was highly disappointed. The quesadilla I ordered was cold, as if it had just come out of the refrigerator, and the cheese was not melted. My blimey limey smoothie was bland and did not match what I had ordered. I had to take my food home to fix it, adding a packet of crystal light to my smoothie and microwaving my meal to satisfy my hunger.

The sandwich, wrap, and smoothies were delicious. The kale salad was just okay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Definitely a great place for lunch.

Sorry to see one of my favorite spots failing. I am a daily customer. We spend winters in Florida where we first started going daily. We were so exited to get one in Bartlesville. However, last week I received 4 un-drinkable smoothies. Mostly chunky but some have been made in correctly as well. Please fix our location!!! I need smoothies daily!

Would have loved to have a smoothie.... BUT.. they decided to close early. Open sign still on, but doors locked drive thru comes on and says to please come back during regular business hours... I'm sorry, but 10 minutes till 9:00 is supposed to BE during regular business hours since your posted hours say you close at 9:00! Thanks for nothing.
