Przekaż informację zwrotnąSecond time I visited WokBox. Delicious!!I ordered teriyaki chicken with rice. I love that they use lime and cilantro and fresh sprouts. Very quick, made to order. Reasonable price.
Stopped here with my family and best decision today. The food was great and the service was all smiles. Thank you so much for the healthy lunch.
Had the best meal! Enjoyed a delicious sumo pad Thai for lunch, that was so big I had to save the rest for dinner. Amazing service. The manager and staff there are so friendly. I will be back!
This is my third visit to Wok Box and 2nd visit to the Barrie location.I cannot express enough how awesome the staff were talking me through the menu. When the food came it was freshly made and tasted amazing. What brings people back to any retail business or restaurant. Great service and great food! I highly recommend it.Vegetarian options: Fresh Fresh Fresh!
Tried ordering online but the order could not be fulfilled due to closing time so we decided to go in and order. I had my heart set on the Hong Kong Spice noodles because it was the best sounding dish that could be made Vegan. However when I went into the store I noticed that the vegan indicator was not beside Hong Kong Noodle on their wall menu nor the take out menu. This got me worried and I asked why it was different from online? To which I got a reply I don’t know I’ll have to say something. So I asked what would make it not vegan? The lady said it must be something in the sauce. I was confused because online had said it could be made vegan and had I ordered it online I would have been eating a non vegan dish. Unacceptable. The staff were friendly but not informative on anything except confirming that I could order the Fireceacker bowl without bacon. So I ordered that with vegan chicken and extra veggies. Unless you like a sloppy mess of sweet sauce with your noodles I would stay away from this dish. It was so sweet, so soupy, I ordered and paid for extra veggies but I received none. Not one single piece of broccoli, peppers, nothing. It’s almost like the avoided putting veggies. When I opened it at home I was very disappointed. I had about 8 carrots in my dish and some cabbage and green onions and a bunch of sauce. Even more disappointing was the taste. It was so sweet it was inedible. There was no spice to it at all. I had to rinse my food and make my own peanut sauce to put on just so I could eat dinner. Please do better informing your staff of dietary restrictions and fulfilling orders correctly. This was a complete waste of my time and money.Dietary restrictions: Be careful, the website’s indication of dishes that can be made vegan is different from in store. Staff are not informative of what’s in each dish. I wanted to order what online says can be made a vegan dish : “Hong Kong Spice” but when I went in store to order there was no indicator next to the menu item stating that it could be made vegan. I asked what is it that makes it not vegan, the staff replied “it must be in the sauce, maybe it’s the hoisin”. I stated that hoisin is pretty standard and it’s vegan to begin with but she just shrugged it off saying that the dish must not be vegan because of “something in the sauce”. A little bit of help from management with a reference book for ingredients can go a long way in a situation like this and avoid any miscommunication or issues in the future. A lot of people have allergies, intolerances and dietary needs and it is unacceptable for staff to not be knowledgeable and customers to be misinformed of what they are ordering.
