Wimpy's - Barrie

Going there with my family, we places an order and out of the 6 dishes there was only 2 wrong but i could let that go but food could have been better

Stopped into Wimpy's for dinner with my children as my son wanted a big burger. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us great service throughout our meal. Nice old style atmosphere in the restaurant with all the old style signs. We ordered a pork...More

Came here for a quick bite to eat. Waited at front door for 5 minutes before seating myself. 3 staff members were at till cashing out customers while other two chatted. Waited at table for 10 minutes 2 tables sat themselves and got serviced before me. Walked to till asked for a menu and server,s help. sat down at table server came over 10 seconds later " what are you having" with pad in hand ready to write and no eye contact. Hi.....I'll have a coke. Snarly sigh from server and stormed off dropped cook down. "K you ready?" Some red carpet treatment here I see. Ordered a burger and fries. Fries tasted recooked and hard to swallow, server messed up topping order as well. No table check couldn't get down half the food. Server finally came by. Snarly asked"how was it". Well I said "its food....I think". I did leave her a tip not for personality but so she was not stuck for tip out. Short and sweet spend your money elsewhere this place is BAD! Go anywhere else......anywhere.

My friend and I stopped here the other day and what I will say is I probably won't be back. The service was so so and our burgers were so plain. We actually had to ask for relish and mustard after our orders were placed on the table. Ummm really

Having been frequent visitors of the other Wimpy's location, we stopped in at the Bayfield location for a bite. Given it was a Sunday around noon, we got a table without waiting which was a positive!Had a mixture of breakfast/lunch dishes among the 4 in our party. The salmon eggs bennie was average, and the pancakes were cold and served with super thick syrup - gross !While there was constant turnover, it was not the best experience. Staff visits were infrequent... Washrooms were not maintained.Will try our other location next time!
