Chillz Lounge - Barrie

Place is a nice cute layout, tad dated. Music was a bit loud. We ordered the chicken nachos and they didn't have chicken or beef and they advised it would be an extra charge even though the menu says it's included in the price. Doesn't say anything about extra charge. We decided to go with the crab cakes and the menu shows 3 crab cakes on the plate, but it arrived with only 2 and they had no reason. We're giving a discount of 1.50, that didn't even cover the price of 1 crab cake. We are surprised that we didn't have a chocolate preference on chocolate fondue, as it only had dark chocolate for a dessert restaurant. It was good but I preferred the milk chocolate. Overall experience was fine, but they have no printed menu and clearly don't state what your going to receive, as the pictures are not the same. Based on our questions to the waitress, the owner decided not to approach us. We are very appreciative of the 1.50 discount we got off after we paid and tipped the waitress for a total bill of approximately 100$. This is no reflection of the waitress, this is a reflection of the business and the owner.

Not worth the cost the drinks were good but expensive, the dessert we ordered was underwhelming. The waffle was barely cooked so the ice cream on top made it soggy. Save your money and go to DQ. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Ordered two mixed berry crepes and they didn’t match the photo of the menu. Both crepes were missing the cream cheese spread that goes into the crepes. They were very dry without it! The sliced strawberries tasted like onions. Probably didn’t clean the cutting board or knife. The service was also subpar. When I voiced my opinion and comments to the server, she was rude and argumentative. The customer is always right. Number one rule. Also, wasn’t given cutlery at the table. How is someone supposed to stir their tea or coffee without a spoon? Disappointed! Will not be returning back!

Visited yesterday on an anniversary day trip from Toronto. Honestly, I’d drive back just for the desserts. Extremely tasty, and the woman working was very personable! I thought the place had a weird vibe at first (feels like an upscale lounge that serves cocktails and desserts), but by the end of our time there, it felt cool. Highly recommend the waffle with chocolate! Service: Dine in
