Diamond in rustic!!!. The best pancakes I ever had! And I had a few: Tilia (Mlps , Good Day Cafe (St. Louis Park , Zumbro Cafe (Linden Hills , Sara's Table (Duluth) and the list could go on... I live in the Twin Cities area, so my sample size is quite large, and while there are many extraordinary pancakes in the Twin Cities and beyond, I still have a pancake that is better than the pancakes! It is breakfast and dessert all packed in one: My advice, the tip on Lou's menu about the order just one... because what is waiting in the center of a short stack order is nothing less than Nirvana. It is the quintessential pancake with which I measure all the others against! And these are just the pancakes... let alone the wonderful acerbic personality of Lou and then the delightful Robin, who apologizes for Lou: and then add Amber and the wonderful staff... and you have the production of a legendary Northern Minnesota goal! Even if you missed the pancake window, the Speck Cheeseburger with Fritten is also not bad! Honestly, Matthew
Big little town café. The pancakes are meant for... Lou is a character, I can understand how he could put out some people, but I enjoy his sense of humor. The value of his meals cannot be beaten.
Lou has some of the best foods and a very affordable price. Also completely rebuilt. You can't beat the staff.
Always AMAZING. No matter what time of day I go to Lou's, the food is unbelievable and the staff is first class. From breakfast to dinner, its homemade food made with love and care and served with a smile. I always feel like family at Lou's stop in and see for yourself.
