Morning Glory Cafe - Barnstable

I miss dining indoors, but they do offer outdoor seating. The new owners are really friendly, and the menu remains the same while also featuring Asian cuisine. They serve JIM'S COFFEE, which is excellent.

Overall, the food and coffee were good, but our order took 40 minutes at 9 AM. I paid extra for vegetarian sausage, but unfortunately, it was missing from my burrito, which was disappointing. Since we ordered to go, I only discovered this after leaving the restaurant; otherwise, I would have asked them to provide it on the side.

The coffee, muffins, and energy bites were fantastic! However, I was very disappointed with the Spinach Salad. I chose to add chicken, but to my surprise, it was shaved very thin, almost like deli meat. If I had known, I would have chosen something else. Additionally, there was a large amount of chicken compared to the crasins, walnuts, and goat cheese.

Decent food at a decent price. Serves fairly local coffee in your choice of roast. No indoor seating but nice options for outdoor dining. Interesting local art for sale inside.

Ever since the new owners took over, there's been a slight dip in quality. The food doesn't seem as fresh.
