Barnstable Tuscan Cuisine Tavern

We went on a whale watching tour and were quite hungry afterward. This restaurant was the closest one we found. The food was excellent; I had the chicken parmesan, and the homemade pasta was delightful. The bread was also really nice. The service was very good, and the outdoor patio had a lovely atmosphere. While it may not be the best Italian food I've ever had, it was definitely decent. I would return to try some other dishes.

Really Good food-moderate ambiance, but we definitely enjoyed this meal. Hot bread with oil was zippy and superb as an ap. The special: Lobster, scallops and shrimp over homemade linguine was delicious and generously portioned. The veal chop very tender.Main courses $30-45 range and apps $10-15. Tiramisu was a delicious dessert. Outdoor patio was adorable but understandably notopen for dining mid October. Servers were pleasant. For me the outdoor ambiance with space heaters would have been a solid 5stars. Indoors 4. We will definitely be back to try the oysters.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our server, Rosa, provided excellent service and was supported by two young men who consistently checked in with us, ensuring we had everything we needed, like water and bread. I did wish there was an entrance from the back parking lot since it was a bit of a trek to the front door, especially in the rain. The parking available out front was limited. However, despite these minor inconveniences, it was definitely worth the trip.

The 4 stars is for food only. Great location. The service was very slow. When approached by server , just a quick what would you like . Similar to a drive up window at a fast food restaurant. The prices and food quality represent fine dining. Otherwise, it 's mediocre at best. Too bad

This is a great restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is excellent, and I've never been let down. However, I've noticed that the service has been lacking lately. The staff seem either inexperienced and unsure of what to do, or they appear disinterested in their work. For example, I've had issues when trying to order a second round of drinks. Isn’t that part of their job?
