The Victorian Tea Rooms - Barnsley

First time I've had afternoon tea there but I wasn't disappointed. You had a good choice of sandwiches, there were homemade scones, jam and cream, beautiful cakes, and strawberries and cream. Didn't manage to eat everything so they gave us a takeout box.

A lovely place to eat with a varied menu. Plenty of choice from meals to afternoon tea. A good choice of tea's coffee plus juices etc.

For the best egg cutard tar in barnsley is to visit the caffe. excellent service, wonderful hot tee and a huge disc made to house a custard, could not be better.

They love the Bakewell tar, which we have even taken home. scones well done. so tee for two steaming hot and scones with jam. eating is very good. personal friendly and friendly and knowledgeable.

Popped in for breakfast. Nice bacon sandwiches and coffee. Pleasant efficient service. Better cafe than many in Barnsley
