Happy Garden - Barnsley

I ordered from this restaurant last night and was very disappointed. The sweet and sour dish was barely average but edible, the plain noodles were overcooked and hard, the vegetarian spring rolls were soggy, and the beef satay sauce had been watered down to the point where it looked like dirty dishwater with questionable peanuts. The total cost for two mains, a side of noodles, and spring rolls was exorbitant. It seems like the restaurant is under new management, but maybe they should consider bringing back the old management. I will not be ordering from here again.

Long standing customer until today) After waiting hour and minutes for our order i was called by the delivery driver. He couldn't find our house. I waited another minutes and then rung the takeaway. I was told the driver was broken...down and walking on foot but was lost. By the time the food arrived it was hour minutes and freezing. We tried telling the driver but he quickly went away with another driver. After several arguments with the man in the takeaway I was offered for the driver to bring my money back and I had to hand over the food. Or I could have another meal in about minutes. So that would have been over hours! This would have been after I didn't order at to eat at that time. That was the best they could do for a long term customer if not I was told i had to go elsewhere. The last few meals from here have been watery and no flavour and I've told the woman who answers the telephone but nithing changed. I've had meals turn up with bits missing and still treated like this. The chicken was dry and the whole dinner was a mess on this occasion. So in answer to the man in the takeaway. Yes i will be going elsewhere.

Had takeaway from here few times and food always good but the latest was very poor. Delivery was in time set out with a polite guy delivering. Food was hot but poor quality and not properly cooked. Pork and chicken balls had very little meat...in them and the coating was stodgy and nearly raw. Beef in Black bean had very little beef but plenty of peppers etc. We will be looking somewhere else next time. I order direct as heard nothing good about Just Eat plus its easier.

We absolutely adore this Chinese restaurant. The food is always consistently delicious and the delivery times are great! Keep an eye out for the fantastic offers on set meals in the menu.

The restaurant serves delicious food with very quick delivery, but they are closed on Mondays. Their salt and pepper chips are some of the best I've had.
