This was great since we were heading to the cinema and were short on time. The burgers we ordered, both the house burger and the chicken burger, were well-made and tasty. Overall, a delicious meal.
Spielburger may, from their menu, seem to be a nice burger place that provides simple and tasty food. However the burger was burnt, the chips were greasy and cold, and the chicken wings were dreadful. The order total was also close to £25 total- safe to say I will never be ordering from here again!
The entrance to Speilberger from the Everyman cinema is almost unmarked and totally unassuming. The interior is a tad shabby, but I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be....however, the burgers were luscious moist tasty and full of real beef excepting the bacon slice which was crisp and perfectly cooked). The skins-on fries were well salted and the food arrived hot, and all four of us were served simultaneously. That’s a bonus in this day in an age of mass catering.
Burger bun was dry like it had been warmed up and sitting somewhere for ages afterwards. Tasteless, couldn 't see it in the cinema (maybe just as well) suspect it was overcooked. Dry inside, no sauce. V disappointing especially considering cost. Cheesey truffle fries were just normal fries with some dry parmesan grated on. No taste of truffle, no melted cheese (like one would expect). The only good thing was the chocolate shake which earns the extra star. Otherwise, totally will never order this again.
Literally attached to the side of the Everyman cinema hence easy to miss the entrance. The menu is 'just ' burgers fries, but they were very tasty. Smoked BBQ burger with bacon, and the chicken burger both went down well. I must say, I was also fond of the Longhorn IPA too. Great pre movie quick dinner. The diner is clean, but has a basic factory feel to it. Would definitely do this again.
