Chantilly's Banquet Hall - Barnesville

This is the most enchanting little ice cream shop. Our family is here on holiday tonight. There was a great variety of things to choose and honest, I had a hard time to decide! All I can say is that you need to make this stop priority when you're in town?

I won't be returning. When we first arrived, I visited the bathroom, and it was in a terrible state—mess on the floor and the toilet. I chose to hold off using it until after our meal, but even then, the mess was still there, which was revolting. The food and drinks were overpriced and not worth the cost at all. The only positive aspect of our experience was our server; she was very friendly and kind.

Eh. I won't be back. The bread to start was fantastic!! The oil dip was to die for!! We ordered French onion soup as a starter. Oh my! It was just disgusting. There was 0 bread in it and it was like a thick stew. No real broth. It was just like an onion mash with a thin layer of swiss on top. The flavor tasted like a beef ramen noodles packet. I ordered chicken cordon bleu. The chicken was rubbery and the twice backed potatoe was terrible. : It had like a crust on the outside which could have been great but underneath was rubberized potato mash. The honey glazed carrots were cooked to soggy mash and we didn't get a single refill on our drinks. I just couldn't understand why everything was so overcooked. I asked for more bread and oil since the meal was blah. And he only brought the bread, no oil dip. Lol. I gave up. I went to the bathroom and was just disgusted. Pictures attached. The setting was beautiful, but the looks were deceiving. We won't ever be back. Sorry guys.

As Texans, we had high expectations, especially when my fiancée ordered an entrée. He received a dish that resembled a ribeye’s center cut but was lacking flavor and tenderness. Additionally, the shrimp on his plate were not fully cooked and still partially frozen, and there was no second side dish included. I ordered the Chicken Francese, which was quite good, draped in a delightful lemon butter sauce. It came with a generous portion—three chicken breasts! While the third piece was slightly overcooked, overall the chef did a commendable job. However, my green beans could have been improved; they were a bit soggy. A note for the chef: a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of sea salt, and a quick roast would help retain their crispness. In summary, this restaurant shows promise and is definitely trying to provide a good dining experience. I loved it!

When I was a teenager and remembered the food tasting absolutely fantastic (definitely a jewel in Barnesville). The fiancée here for NYE and it was better than what I remember. A 10-year memory. We come back more often! Look at this restaurant when you're in the area.
