Caffe Portineria - BARI

Very nice place where the kitchen is really great. The first fish dishes are superlative. To try for sure!

Embedded in the quadrilateral murattiano, there is this bistro bar, where the hospitality and education of the owners reign. Good and varied the sweet assortment for breakfast. For a quick lunch break, always varied daily menu and good food quality; I tasted both first and second, simple, but faithful to the Bari cuisine.

It is in my city and therefore I do not live the Portineria coffee as a tourist, but I live it daily because it is a cozy place, clean, simple (in its positive sense), where you can take a coffee on the fly or where to stop to work, study, chat, listen to Italian vintage music, attend events, without that no one sends you away time of stop. At the café Portineria you can even get the parcels of the shipments and, at lunchtime, stop to eat the simple dishes of the Apulian and Mediterranean tradition cooked according to the ridges of tradition. It is the ideal place for those looking for a bit of tranquility but in the middle of Bari just two blocks from the famous Via Sparano. If you pass from Bari take a leap, I strongly recommend it, and then it is one of the first free plastic coffee in Italy, another good reason to go.

Informal and youthful place, where there are ample cultural space, music, creativity and a great coffee. the kind, professional and professional owner. I'll definitely come back.
