Two visits in two years and they are both in my Top 10 if not Top 5 best meals I have ever had. I travelled everywhere around this great country and the world and HSH just constantly buzzes my great dining memories. Along with the food, the experience is something beyond special. What an exceptional night. Perfect fall evening in the garden with a special cocktail and appetizer of hush puppies and meatball. So perfect then into the fabulous dining room where all the magic began. Pop Ups are amazing. We got to go through the kitchen as we had a wheelchair. Met the chef! Amazing food and affordable.

A Foody 's paradise in Nelson County. Head Chef Newman Miller is an absolute wizard in the kitchen, conjuring elegant and divine dishes with spices and flavor profiles to tantalize the tongue, and Chef Stephen Goodin is an alchemist with breads, perfecting each dough to an art piece before serving. The cocktails are a story in and of themselves (their old-fashioned is one of the best around). Each Pop-up event is worth investigating, and never disappoints. Guest chefs even arrive at times to concoct dishes never seen on a conventional menu. Staff is also attentive and friendly, always happy to swap stories and knowledge.
